Esterbrook #505 – DRAFT

DRAFT – This page is incomplete. More information will be added at a later date, including updating the Reference section.

Description:

Comments:

  • The original 505 was a copy of a popular number from Harrison and Bradford, an early pen maker. Harrison and Bradford was absorbed into Miller Brother’s Cutlery Company in 1883. Harrison had already left to join John Turner, one of the original Birmingham skilled workers Richard Esterbrook brought to start his factory, to found Turner & Harrison.
  • I’m assuming the Penesco 505 was based on the original 505.
