Esterbrook #343 Red Ink Pen – DRAFT

DRAFT – This page is incomplete. More information will be added at a later date, including updating the Reference section.

Description:

Comments:

  • These are generally made of a nickel alloy to resist corrosion in the red ink of the day. “German Silver” generally has no actual silver in it.
  • These are also often called Laundry Pens because they used a similar red ink to label your clothes for laundering. I’ve seen other makers sell whole kits with a “laundry” pen and red ink for marking clothes.
