- Prices: 75¢ per gross, $1.00 for gold-plated
Comments:
- One of Esterbrooks most popular pens.
- When Esterbrook looked to make its first fountain pen, it chose the 314 Relief, out of all of their nibs, to be the first nib of the first fountain pen. The Relief fountain pen remained popular, especially in the UK, for quite a while.
- In the US, the x314 Renew-Point nibs are still popular for their regular line of fountain pens.
- A very smooth-writing stub that lasts a long time. Great for general correspondence and long writing sessions.
- Also not flexible. It’s brass. Brass doesn’t bend and spring back. Don’t believe the marketing.
