Description:
Comments:
- This label is from the Library of Congress collections.
- There is a listed copyright of 1-29-1866. It is likely this was a limited release pen in honor of the assassinated president. It appears nowhere else except this box label, which is not even glued to a box.
- No examples of this pen are known, and because of how early it was in Esterbrook’s history, and presumably limited run, this may be one of the rarest pens in Esterbrook history. I would crawl through reasonably broken glass for one.
