Esterbrook #312 Judge’s Quill

Description:

  • Name(s): Judge’s Quill
  • Shape: Long stub
  • Finishes: Gray, Gold
  • Tip: Stub
  • Prices: 75¢ per gross

Comments:

  • Of the long stubs, this has the finest point.
  • Some descriptions call it “flexible” but it’s not terribly flexible. Nowhere near as flexible as the similarly-shaped Spencerian 28 Congressional, a truly flexible stub.
  • One of the standard pens made for a long time and still seen periodically on the vintage market.
