Description:
- Name(s): Amalgam, The Amalgam Pen, Circular Point
- Shape: Inflexible
- Finishes: Nickel (White), Gray
- Tip: Pointed
- Prices: 55¢ per gross (1876, 1879, 1883, 1887), $1.00 per gross (1883 and 1887 nickel plated, 1918 Cameron Amberg)
Comments:
- “Circular point, medium; much liked and largely used.” – 1883
- The pens with this shape are stiff and yet hold a great deal of ink. They work very well for accounting and leger work where a consistent, fine line is useful, and modulation in line is not necessary.
