• Despite being called “Double Elastic” it doesn’t have the side notches like #135.
• This style does not seem to have lasted much into the 20th-century, if at all. For example, it doesn’t show up, at least as this number and name, in the fairly comprehensive Esterbrook Pens and What They Do.
• “A good pen for fine business use.”
