Esterbrook 805 Oval Point

Esterbrook # 805 Oval Point

Description:

The classic Falcon body with a sharp turned-up tip. An oval vent hole. Gray finish.

 Esterbrook #805 Oval Point

Remarks:

The term "Oval Point" refers to the turned-up tip. The pen writes with the under side of the tip rather than with the very end of the tip itself. This style tip made for smoother writing and longer nib life and was used on many pens. Esterbrook only got around to calling it something special on certain pen models.
