Esterbrook # 621 Vertical Writer |
Description: A straight-bodied pen with a sharp tip. An oval vent hole. Gray. |
Remarks: The term "Vertical Writer" was a marketing ploy to tie this pen to one of the handwriting fads of the late 1800s. Otherwise, it is a very good pen. |
Reference: The existence of this pen is confirmed or surmised by the following: Listed in the Cameron Amberg & Co Stationery Catalog #85, Chicago, May 1918, p 67 & 68. (Contributed by Andrew Midkiff) Listed in Whiteapple Multimedia Vintage Nib Chart Listed by Internet Vendor(s) Found in Vintage Advertisements 1898 |
