Esterbrook #0 Drawlet Pen
|
|
|
Description:
The body is a step-up design with a turned-up tip that
produces a thicker line of ink on paper. The over-reservoir is crimped
at the sides of the main body and extends to nearly the tip. The
over-reservoir appears to be steel with black or blue finish. This pen
has
little flexibility.

Remarks:
The over-reservoir is the version without the vent hole. The side view
of of this over-reservoir pen shows the space that would be loaded with
ink. It also illustrates the difficulty of cleaning this pen thoroughly.
The over-reservoir gives an large ink capacity which makes it popular
for cartoon or monoline lettering as shown in the writing sample.
