Esterbrook Nib Lists: 900 – 999

Radio Pens

The 900 series of Esterbrook nibs are the Radio pens. The Radio Pens were introduced in 1913 and are based on earlier styles of pens but with a special coating to help reduce rusting and corrosion. Radio Pens are still reasonably available and are a good choice even today because of the silver/nickel plating.

Esterbrook claimed they had 26 styles of Radio Pens. It’s not clear if all 26 were offered at the same time. It appears Esterbrook may have dropped some Radio Pens and added others to the list over the years in which they were sold.

This may be an incomplete list and ask your help to identify and describe nibs and provide information to improve this list. If you know of any corrections or additions to this list, please e-mail me and let me know.
