Description:
Comments:
- “Razor sharp for retouching, erasing and cutting. Fits all penholders. Of invaluable aid to the user of fine line pens. Gray finish.”
- This particular knife is also sold as useful in linoleum cutting (the “lino cutter” in the description below), often used in printing.
- It’s interesting that the 1910 John Mitchell catalog entry for the same type of scratch knife mentions it was used for vaccination purposes. Early smallpox vaccinations were often done with a simple cut or scratch.
