Esterbrook # 453 Business & College Pen |
||
Description: A straight body with sharp point. An ovoidal vent hole. Flexible, Gray finish. |
||
Remarks: To me, this pen is slightly more flexible than the #453 School pen. From the following descriptions, it would seem that this pen came in different degrees of flexibility. This is probably due to different variations between early production and later production. Description in 1938 Esterbrook Catalog "Flexible, medium. A medium point for muscular movement writing. Gray finish"
Description in the Zanerian Catalog
"A commercial and school pen with fine elastic action."
Description in Esterbrook Pens and What They Will Do "For
commercial colleges this pen has no superior. It is of good size and
splendid action. Wears well. Very largely used in business schools."
