Esterbrook # 369 Maritime Pen |
Description: A flaring pen with the flare sweeping over the shoulders to the tip. A sharp tip and a rectangular vent hole. Gray finish. |
Remarks: This pen shape is seen in later pen offerings including the Penesco and Radio series. In general, cosmetic changes were made or improvements made in production and materials as with the Radio pens. Otherwise, this was like General Motors coming out with a new model ... marketing. A surprisingly good writer. Description in 1938 Esterbrook Catalog
"Maritime - Firm, medium. Man's pen. Large, very durable. Gray finish"
