Esterbrook # 239 Chancellor Pen


Description: 

A straight-bodied pen with a short stub nib and a crescent moon vent hole. Little flexibility. Gray finish.

Introduced in 1880

From the writing sample, you can see this pen makes a broad line. The line modulation is from the stub tip and not from flexure.
