Esterbrook #206 |
Description: A pen with a reduced waist and a spear point head with a sharp point. A semi-keyhole vent hole. The edges are folded over to form a rim around the head of the pen. The rim has two "U" shaped notches on each side. Medium flexibility. Gray finish. |
Remarks: An unusually shaped pen, probably a copy of an European or English pen. Not commonly found. The "wall" around the head was probably intended to give extended ink capacity. The "U" notches were probably intended to add extra surfaces for more surface tension to help hold the extra ink. Probably not a very successful design. It is not recommended that you actually overload this pen with ink. |
