Remarks:
The
oblique pen is often used by calligraphers and frequently has
usable flexibility. The oblique pen is used with a straight pen holder.
When the pen holder is held normally, the crank in the pen nib
positions the pen point at a more perpendicular lateral angle to the
drawing surface. This arrangement often makes it difficult for the user
to produce good results until they have practiced with it for some time. These nibs are often very flexible and used for calligraphy and ornamental writing.
