Esterbrook # 2 Lithographic |
||
Description: |

Remarks: I believe this pen number to be spurious. I think it actually an #62 Crow Quill Lithographic. I saw it advertised by an internet vendor on an internet auction. The lo-res auction picture showed a Crow Quill nib. But I have seen no other reference to it elsewhere. I happen to have a #62 Crow Quill Lithographic nib which has a poor imprint where the "6" is almost invisible, but the "2" is marked enough to be readable. Therefore, the seller could not be faulted for misidentifying the nib. I include this remark about the #2 Crow Quill because someone else who owns one of these poorly marked nibs would likely make the same mistake. Just because it is poorly marked does not decrease its utility. It is still a good working nib so put it to use. |
